The Legacy of Life Society provides the opportunity for WELS Lutherans for Life, Metro-Milwaukee supporters to make a “planned gift.”

You can be the difference -
     You can make a huge difference in an active, growing financial program that will build a foundation of financial stability so we can continue to provide life-enhancing services and innovative programs to meet the changing needs of our community.

Your benefits can be significant -
      We do not ask for funds now but request that you consider including WELS Lutherans for Life in your long-range financial plans. By doing this now, you may find that tax advantages can increase the value of your estate, enabling you to do more than you might ever dreamed possible. This will also ensure that we can continue our dedication to promoting life through education and action.

Your planning helps everyone -
     Planned giving allows you to make a gift to the organization as part of estate planning. This gift is made now, but it does not impact your current assets. The “planned gift” actually comes to the organization at some time in the future. Although there is no immediate cash benefit to the organization, creating these gifts has tremendous impact on planning and goals for the future and greatly enhances the ability to carry out our mission.

You have lots of options -
     Naming WELS Lutherans for Life in your will is one form of planned giving. There are many others, for example you can designate the organization as the beneficiary of an insurance policy. In both examples, no assets are transferred to WELS Lutherans for Life until after death.

     It’s easy to enroll. Just tell us that you are including the organization in your will. We can assist you if you need help in determining what you would like to include or how to do it. Please ask if you are interested in information on other planned gifts.
